Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP

NetSuite ERP is our main Finance accounting system, we use it for daily journal entries, month end close, consolidation and reporting purposes.

Pros

  • General Ledger management and maintenance
  • Multiple subsidiaries bookings
  • Consolidations

Cons

  • the Planning data input for Act vs Forecast comparison is not easy to use
  • reporting format not user friendly
  • Overall it's recommended by all 20 finance team members in our organization
  • our month-end close usually complete within 8 days
Overall satisfied with the current setting. As we have implemented separate planning tool to supplement the forecasting & reporting functions

Less appropriate: We couldn't load the planning data easily to the NetSuite scenarios for reporting purposes.
the reporting hierarchy is somewhat difficult to navigate and once export, we have to spend quite some time adjusting the format
