Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite OpenAir PSA
NetSuite OpenAir PSA is being used for services billing, resource management, reporting, expenses and project management.
Pros
- Tasks Management and timesheets are pretty well designed and straight forward to use.
- Expense entry and reports are solid.
- Invoice and billing integration API is understandable and easy to use with other systems.
Cons
- Speed, we have been seeing slowness often in the last six months, so they need to optimize their system and connectivity.
- Increase number of records that can be requested at one time. Today it's limited to 1000 and I know it is negotiable, the default I believe should be 5000+.
- Provide connectors to various ERP/CRM systems, today it is limited to a short list of systems.
- We have been using NetSuite OpenAir PSA for years, and it worked very well with our ERP system, I believe it delivered a positive return on investment in a year or so after initial implementation by automating billing processes and increasing business productivity.
OpenAir PSA Feature Ratings
Using NetSuite OpenAir PSA
1300 - Contractor, IT, Accounting, Operations and Managed Services
5 -
- Technical skills: knowing the folowing languages : xml, php, sql
- Administrative skills: security and user management
- Functional: accounting, project management
- Expense entry in the expense report section, it is used by most employees
- Agil task management time entry for all projects
- Sending invoices over to the ERP system via integrations
- Managed Services uses the resources management component
- I am not sure how to answer this one, I believe we are using the PSA out of the box as is, but I believe there was no finished integration product with PSA and Lawson ERP, so we had to improvise and build integration for expenses and billing.
