Overall Satisfaction with New Relic

I use New Relic to monitor application performance and a centralised place to view all error and debug logging

Pros

  • easy to use interface
  • very easy API to use
  • logging and dashboard options
  • all of our staff across all departs have access to New Relic
  • shared views and dashboards and log filters make it easy for our teams to view issues and troubleshoot problems
Before New Relic we had log files all over the place on different windows VMs, was horrible to manage. But now we have them in one central place that we can query, review and monitor.
Our cost to serve customers dropped dramatically having one single place to view application performance and find errors or problems. All of our apps send their logs to newrelic and newrelic monitors all of our apps, meaning we find out if things go down before our customers - churn has gone down, meaning we can focus on keeping customers and building new functionality.

New Relic was super easy to implement and very easy to use and navigate. Before NR we had log files all over the place on different windows VMs, was horrible to manage. But now we have them in one central place that we can query, review and monitor.
