Overall Satisfaction with Nintex Process Platform

We use four different Nintex forms on a SharePoint site as part of our intake process for other departments to submit requests for reports, dashboards, PDF and other data related projects. As an example, The Measure and Visualization Change Request form is submitted to request a change to a measure artifact (Business Case, Measure Specification Document) or to a data visualization product (Interactive dashboard, map, excel interface). The form must include all required information and any relevant supporting data artifacts, prior to the change being prioritized.

  • Loading forms can longer than expected.
  • You cannot quickly restart a failed workflow.
  • Relies on Microsoft to not make drastic changes or it will fail.

Simplicity of use and implementation. No additional coding or hardware is needed. Integration with Microsoft 365 is seamless. Saved time and reduced errors by ensuring the right data is collected at the right time across our different departments. We benefited greatly from the advanced logic, conditional formatting, and validation rules.
We use Nintex with SharePoint by utilizing the native workflow engine to build workflows within the SharePoint user interface. It provides a workflow designer within the SharePoint interface. It uses purely SharePoint to develop workflows and also manage them. It provides various activities that can be used for creating workflows.
SharePoint is our central hub for managing our intake process so integrating Nintex forms with SharePoint has been pivotal in streamlining our intake process.
Currently we reviewing Jira Align so a true comparison with Nintex has not yet been assessed.

For our use, it is well suited for form creation as part of our intake process. Nintex Forms are quick and easy to build and customize with no code. We drag the controls on to the canvas, define our rules, and publish to our audience in a timely manner. These forms have helped to better control and manage our intake process.
