Overall Satisfaction with ON24

ON24 is used by Valeo Service to educate and train a variety of people interested in or working in the automotive sector. The webinar training platform ensures we can deliver professional train both live and on-demand focusing on various areas of the business. These include product demonstration training, detailed presentations on new technology that has both launched and being created by Valeo, as well as best fitment practice advice or a whole array of products to help users and fitters avoid warranty issues and secondary fitments. This is a great tool used by both our Marketing team and our TechCare Training team.

  • Offers multiple ways of presenting webinars. Such as; live, on demand and semi live.
  • Allows you to upload documents and training material that attendees can download and take away.
  • Has an excellent chat service where you can speak to ON24 staff about any issues you may be experiencing.

Cons

  • Improved use of animations in slide deck transfer uploads.
  • Improved use of videos that are embedded into presentation slides.
  • The ability to accept video formats other than MP4.
  • Increased contact with specific automotive sectors.

ON24 has transformed the way I approach virtual events by providing seamless, interactive platforms that engage audiences effectively. Its intuitive interface and innovative features, such as personalized content and real-time analytics, have made it easier to create impactful experiences. This has inspired me to explore new virtual formats, like hybrid events and webinars, which enhance engagement and allow for more dynamic participation, ultimately elevating my work's reach and impact.
With the technical team unable to attend customer and garage premises to perform training, ON24 has enabled us to still reach out and stay in contact with our customer base as well as find other attendees that are also interested in our products and services. This has led to an increase in people trained.
ON24 not only allows external training to be done but also internal training. Once the training presentation has been conducted then it is then available to watch on-demand. This potentially saves having to do future training sessions. With the pandemic, digital training has increased and allowed us to continue training.
ON24 has many aspects that Google Meets does not. For a start, it has the capability to pre-record the training presentation that can then be set to play at a date determined by the presenter. Therefore, no live training is required. It also has the function to share documentation with attendees that they can download and keep.

It is well suited for uploads of ready-built presentations and for people already trained in Microsoft Powerpoint who want to present to an audience via webinar. Scenarios that require live presentations and demonstrations are less suited to ON24 and would require a different platform or a different approach to the training that needs to be delivered.

However, once familiarised, it becomes easier to utilize the platform's potential.

While the platform offers excellent features and flexibility, the cost per webinar to produce is a significant barrier for continued use. The pricing structure does not align well with our budget, especially when producing multiple events. Although the platform’s capabilities are impressive, the high cost makes it difficult to justify the investment for regular usage, leading us to explore more cost-effective alternatives.

The platform’s scalability made it a versatile choice, capable of handling both small webinars and large-scale conferences. Finally, its seamless integration with our existing CRM and marketing tools streamlined the entire event planning and execution process.
If I had to do it again, I would focus more on cost-benefit analysis to ensure the platform aligns with our budget and long-term goals. I would also prioritize evaluating the ease of use and training requirements for the team to avoid a steep learning curve. Additionally, I would involve more stakeholders from various departments, such as marketing, IT, and customer support, to gather a broader perspective on the platform's functionality and integration with other tools
