Overall Satisfaction with OnPay

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use OnPay to process payroll, primarily for clients who pay on a biweekly basis. It helps us keep compliant with any new payroll laws across many different states and makes the entire process easy and seamless! We would not be able to keep up to date on any new requirements that each state requires, so it is nice that OnPay handles all of that in the background.

Support Rating

OnPay rarely has issues, but when I've needed anything they've been very responsive and helpful and usually reply and fix any issues within the hour.

Usability

It is super easy to use, from enrolling to ongoing use. They help with data entry to switch over to their system and once you've set everything up I can process payroll very quickly. Everything is very user friendly and I love the way that it saves as you go, no need to worry that you haven't hit save after modifying any settings.

Alternatives Considered

ADP Global Payroll, Gusto, QuickBooks Time, Quickbooks Online Payroll and PICit CFS/Warehouse

OnPay is just a lot more user friendly. It isn't bogged down by a million different features, it really just has everything you need and nothing you don't. It just makes everything really simple and efficient. It's my favorite payroll processing system to use out of several others that I am forced to use for different clients.

OnPay works really well in regards to multi state payroll processing. It also is very customizable, so you can handle clients that have bonuses, tips, or other compensation or deductions. The start up and enrolling process is also really simple and OnPay will even do all the data entry for you when switching from another product.
