Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Web Experimentation
We are a consultancy company that utilize Optimizely Web Experimentation for our clients. We are heavy into experimentation and starting to introduce personalization.
Pros
- Accessible experimentation for net-new programs
- Previewing on the site with the debugger tool - allowing us to debug custom metrics as well
- WZYWIG tools
Cons
- Integration with GA4, we're experiencing data-loss of about 15%
- Having to create custom tracking that doesn't always translate
- The stats engine over-simplifies the results if you aren't trained to interpret.
- Risk mitigation
- Trying out new content
- Quick iterations
We use it to split A/B/n traffic and build, we do all other things outside of the tool
