Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

It is very user-friendly and easy to use. I wish I knew more about the functionality because there are probably other components that I am not leveraging and that I should be working on. The adoption was pretty straightforward as I had previously used Tout and the general concepts are very similar.
Across sales. The SDR team uses it for a ton of campaigns and much more mass outreach initiatives. I use it differently because I am typically focusing on an individual at a company. For me, it makes it easier to track emails in Salesforce, schedule emails and mask phone numbers. Saves me time and brings efficiency.

Pros

  • Schedule emails
  • Hide phone numbers
  • Link to Salesforce

Cons

  • The feed of who opens emails and tracking should be improved
  • Support in terms of training
  • Alternating call numbers and more global access
  • Saved me time
  • Increased opportunities
  • Grown pipeline
I have not had a good experience. I scheduled a training for our team of 10 people with Outreach and unfortunately the person we scheduled it with is no longer with the company. Nobody from Outreach reached out to let me know, or to reschedule. This made our team lose momentum in gaining more product knowledge.
The only other similar product I used was Tout. I did not participate in the evaluation so can't speak to why we chose one over the other. However, the functionality around hiding your phone number is extremely beneficial. This is a big differentiator that adds a ton of value to me in sales.
Outreach is great for a sales team that is looking to create structure, operate more efficiently and better quantify performance. Unfortunately, I am not that focused on all the functionality of Outreach and I typically only use the features I am comfortable with and know. More training could be helpful to improve my work.
