Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

Prospecting into new accounts. I utilize both email and calling features and do like the analytics portion of the solution.

The business problem it addresses is that it serves a purpose both from a leadership and staff member perspective. It must provide leadership with the necessary data to help team, but also be a seamless solution that salespeople can utilize as part of their processes.

Pros

  • Contact sync with SF
  • Call feature and listening in
  • Prospect and account list is useful

Cons

  • GUI is dated.
  • We need better ways to slice and dice data in outreach. It is very limited in what fields you can bring in on different screens. Very frustrating when prospecting.
  • Need much better reporting/analytics so we can better and more easily understand our prospecting activities. Possibly have recommendations based on priority accounts etc.
  • Need help with cleaning up contact lists based on bounces or inaccurate data for phone numbers. If we indicate there is a wrong number, why not have the ability to auto add this prospect into a report/list for clean up. Perhaps AI can help with this.
  • Bring in an auto dial feature. This might be helpful in saving time.
  • It's helped me speed up my ability to reach out to customers. I like bulk composing but would be even better if Outreach was able to recommend (daily/weekly/etc.) who we should reach out to based on intent/other metrics.
  • I will say outreach has improved our ability to book more meetings simply because it enables volume activities.
It feels like it would work the same for smaller or larger orgs.
I haven't really used AI capabilities in the product yet.
It works but could be a lot better based on the ability to update data faster, slice and dice data through improved analytics, and AI could help improve speed of prospecting.
I haven't had time to look at the market much.

Yes

It feels like Outreach has an opportunity to impress the sales world, but is not investing money in the functionality of the platform. I like what is there, but much of it has areas where tweaking would be extremely helpful.
I would be happy to walk someone through areas where things could be improved.

- What if I wanted to see a report on my priority 1 accounts and show a list of those contacts not touched in the past month.
- Or what about bringing in Salesforce fields to help with sorting and filtering.
