Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

Using Outreach has really streamlined how I manage multiple step outreach campaigns. Instead of keeping a spreadsheet, copying templates, adjusting my customer, and sending emails or linkedin messages manually, Outreach helps streamline all the tasks into one place and speeds up the process by 5x at least. Cutting this time down lets me focus on selling in my day to day and less on admin work.

Pros

  • Dynamic Emails customized per customer
  • Streamline calling and making it quicker
  • Manage multiple emails and phone numbers

Cons

  • Scheduling emails via gmail doesn't always work. I find sometimes that the email did not send even though I scheduled it. Biggest issue of mine
  • Too many clicks, cumbersome to move prospects in and out of steps and sequences
  • Call quality can be shaky sometimes
  • By getting more outreach out via the platform in less time, I have been able to target more prospects.
  • The wider the net in terms of volume of outreach equates to more responses which means more meetings and chance to run demo's for our software where we have the highest conversation rate following the demo
  • At least a 50% time savings if not more
We haven't run into any issues regarding adjusting to our type of business and we only sell to Apparel, Footwear, & Accessories brands. Therefore, I'd recommend Outreach based on the needs of a similar business.
Outreach shows which prospects are most likely to respond to us based on activity. It automatically creates a task when high engagement is seen which then allows our sales team to quickly take action. These tasks are very accurate for the most part and are a necessity to follow up with high engaging clients.
The platform overall is great but we've had some issues with emails not being sent even when scheduled. The amount of clicks and effort to accomplish adding/removing prospects can be a bit convoluted as well.
I find Outreach more robust and I can do more within the platform. However, I do think Salesloft was easier to manage. When I say this, I mean that getting tasks done quickly and managing the sequences + prospects within them was more flexible (less errors and ease of use / less clicks)

Really all types of outreach can be done in Outreach. So I wouldn't say it's limited on types of tasks at all. I think without using a platform like Outreach, you're wasting time, which time is money since the more time I have to sell the better we perform as a company.
