Overall Satisfaction with PagerDuty

We use PagerDuty to make sure the right people know, and right away, if there is a situation that requires their immediate attention. Our customers expect a high level of service 24/7/365, so being able to quickly reach and coordinate our on-call team with PagerDuty has become critical to our operations.
  • Flexible on-call schedules.
  • Notify users before their on-call shift starts.
  • Hard to synchronize on-call rotations between teams.
  • Increased accountability for timely incident response.
  • Increased employee satisfaction because they can own their own on-call schedule.
As a software company, often the very things that cause us to need to notify the on-call team also cause wide-spread disruption at our vendors. PagerDuty has always functioned, even when major public cloud providers or ISPs are degraded.
We integrate PagerDuty with Slack, Datadog, and custom API integrations. This encourages teams to create the proper monitoring because if they do we can automatically connect these services and deliver a complete experience.
PagerDuty is very easy to use, and the integrations it offers makes it easy to place into our overall workflow. The pricing is competitive.
On the rare occasions I've needed support, the PagerDuty team helped me solve the problem within minutes.
