Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

We use PandaDoc primarily to create proposals for our corporate video production company. These proposals include various types of content to present the organization in a positive light to the recipient, including sample videos, logos of other clients, lists of qualifications, etc. We also use these as our contracts to determine pricing, scope, terms, etc.

Pros

  • Templates.
  • Various Media Type Integration.
  • Simplicity of use.

Cons

  • It is a bit glitchy.
  • It struggles when 2 accounts are looking at the same document simultaneously.
  • The new dashboard layout is not very intuitive.
  • Improved standardization across company.
  • Significantly improved efficiency in proposal writing.
  • It is easy to use from the Client perspective
  • Employment Contracts.
  • Memorandums of Understandings.
  • Bills of Sale.
We briefly used Proposify, and it had some nice options for creating more ascetically pleasing proposals and contracts. However, it was far more time-consuming, and any gain in asceticism did not outweigh the significant loss in efficiency, simplicity, and reliability of using PandaDoc, which is why we did not switch.

It is very well suited for proposal/quotation/contract writing, including adding lots of marketing-type content and sales copy. It also works well for employment contracts. However, it struggles with having more than one user looking at the same document, which hinders collaboration. If you want something very flashy, it may not be the best fit, as the layouts are more simple.
