Overall Satisfaction with Parallels Remote Application Server

Parallels Remote Application Server is the platform we use to host custom software across different industries. We host a server on AWS and use Parallels to host the custom app to the client. So each client uses RAS to access their hosted app on the server.
  • Hosting remote apps
  • Managing security for those programs
  • RAS Server user login for me has been confusing or difficult in the past.
  • Having to use the AD or computers' user and groups is annoying but I understand its needed for RDP.
  • We can simplify application hosting management times faster.
  • We can use one server for multiple apps.
  • Citrix Virtual Apps (formerly XenApp)
Parallels Remote Application Server is simpler and better priced. Also, Parallels handles printers better.
Yes, some of our clients use our apps on the Parallels platform on their devices. Everyone loves it.
Some clients are salespeople on-the-go, so the HTML and iPhone apps allow them to get to the data they need.
We do not use those other technologies, but we are thankful Parallels RAS is on top of things.
We like to group users under their defined access rights and share the apps to those groups. It simplifies and segregates the security groups.
When I call they answer. Thank you!
