Overall Satisfaction with Parallels Remote Application Server
It's used by our whole organization. Parallels Remote Application Server allows our technicians to manage our services and our commercial agents to access our business systems.
Pros
- Multi-platform: We can use desktops and any kind of mobile devices.
- Security: It's a simple and secure way to access to our business services.
Cons
- On Windows-based systems, it is not easy to access the application from the systray.
- No need to hire professional people to set up the infrastructure.
- No need to support end-users to set up the software. We were used to sending a technician to the homes of our end-users to set up the software, but now we don't need to anymore.
Parallels Remote Application Server is easier to set up. It's easier to manage and, in my opinion, it's more secure.
Absolutely, this is the main reason why we chose Parallels Remote Application Server. Every day we save a lot of time on the management of applications for our remote users. We have a lot of mobile users, and they are always able to access our applications in a very easy way.
We have a lot of mobile users using tablets, iPads, and Android devices. They are able to access our services while they are at customers' offices. They easily access our data and many customers are impressed looking at our agents working.
Actually we don't virtualize any service.
We are using encrypted connections, user access control, and multi-factor authentication. It's a must to use it for security.
