Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I help users with their onboarding, cell onboarding, their personal action forms, clock in issues, basically anything payroll related. I'm there to help.

Pros and Cons

Pros

We recently started with, well I guess the last year started with the Personal Action Forms. Those have really been a game changer I think for us. We did status changes all on paper, so it's nice to have everything automated now.

Cons

Sometimes I feel like a lot of times it updates. They're sort of changing things that I never saw there was an issue with before. There's a lot of updates. Sometimes we don't really, I know that it's in Paycom. I think the many updates that are about to happen, but a lot of times that we don't really see it until we're actually in there using Paycom and then we're like, this is different. But sometimes the updates don't always make a lot of sense, but maybe to other companies, just not us sometimes

Return on Investment

I think it has had a positive impact on, especially from the company that we used prior to, it's literally night and day and I think a lot of the employees see it as well that there's a lot of positive things regarding their clocking in. We wish they didn't use it quite as much. It means they're really not doing their job, but it is nice that it's there for them if they need it.

Single Software Solution

You mean what we used prior to the company that we had before was a lot of manual stuff. It wasn't quite as automated or really user friendly, the employees, so this, it's literally night and day

Our payroll and we are processing payroll. It doesn't take nearly as long to process payroll than it used to. It used to take days to process payroll. Now it's just very quick, efficient. The check approvals, the, unfortunately we can't always get them out. It depends on how we are with our time restraints and stuff like that, but the employees seem to love it when they can actually see their actual paycheck before payday

Likelihood to Recommend

I think the “Ask Here” feature is nice. Not everybody uses it or maybe even notices it, but it is nice when an employee is in there doing something or approving their timecard or something and they can immediately send out a message if they have any questions or concerns or any kind of issues or anything like that. I think that is a nice little feature that we like and I think a lot of the employees need to use it quite a bit.
