Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is used as our full HR solution from recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll processing, data analysis, performance management and employee engagement. We were looking for a system that would provide end to end service for the entire employee life cycle and found that solution with Paylocity. Our internal process efficiencies have greatly increased with using the system and saved time between our HR team and people managers.
  • The flow of information between different parts of the system is seamless and a big timesaver.
  • The customer service team available when calling in is always knowledgeable and when an answer is not known immediately does well with following up for a solution.
  • The ability to provide direct feedback on areas of the system is a plus and appreciated to have a voice in future updates.
  • At times resolution to service questions can take a lot of time or no specifics around why something took place is given.
  • Benefits open enrollment process had a lot of errors and could be better between when open enrollment closes, audit happens and new files are sent to carriers. We had a lot of issues with the system not providing correct details on carrier feeds or over into payroll.
  • Enhanced workflow capabilities to allow for more customization on events and forms and the ability to tie it to all parts of the system not only onboarding.
  • Reduced overall cost around our HRIS
  • Reduced time and better efficiencies on employee life cycle processes
  • Better data insights for our org to begin to make better decisions through data
The payroll process within the system has decreased our time spent and removed many manual processes being used previously. The recruiting and onboarding automation also has decreased our time spent and allowed for our HR team to focus more on candidate and the onboarding experience for new hires.
The surveys option within the system is utilized greatly in our organization. This has helped us stay connected with our employees and gather insight directly from them on many different topics. The ability to schedule the survey, share insights, and make anonymous if needed are all helpful tools within surveys.
The service and ease of the system with Paylocity is what set them apart from other systems we have used. The cost of the system was a huge savings for us as well. The user experience has also been a huge improvement for our organization and the self service capabilities.

Great system for mid-sized companies and those that would like to have more efficient processes during the employee life cycle. For companies with complex benefits or many changes/life events that may take place throughout the year it may not be the best solution due to the experiences we have had with mistakes between benefits, payroll and carriers.
