Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity mainly for Payroll and quarterly reports. With some of the software we use outside of Paylocity, we aren't able to integrate some of our reporting, so we rely on Paylocity's reports to complete some of the tasks our other software programs can't do. Since we don't use Paylocity for our timekeeping, we rely on other areas of the software in order to provide us with the data we need.

  • Wonderful Customer Service!
  • The configure Self Service portal can be a bit difficult to navigate.
  • As an Admin user, The homepage takes me to the community, and It should take me to HR/Payroll.
  • A few of the reports are named very similarly, such as birthday reports, so it's difficult to find the correct one.
  • Using your services, we've filed an amended 941, causing a large unexpected kickback from IRS.
  • Reduced an average of 1.7 hours per week on payroll due to reporting from Paylocity.
  • Saved an average of 3 hours per pay period with 401k reporting using your reporting tools.
Paylocity has significantly improved our accounting department by providing automated reporting for our 401K reports and our quarterly reports. Payroll has been easily one of the easiest processes I've used since being in this field. Our employees are able to get paid faster with how quickly Paylocity processes payroll, which is always good for morale.
While our company doesn't use these features very much, we do use the birthday recognitions and the community hangout to post recognitions. We're more of a hands-on type of engagement workplace; however, when someone does post in the community area, others follow!
Paylocity has, hands down, the best customer service out of anyone I've used in the past. I've also noticed that there aren't any technical difficulties I've experienced since using Paylocity, which is a little over a year now. Several of the other software programs I used in the past would have difficulties sometimes once or twice per month. I've also loved how user-friendly the platform is and how reader-friendly the reporting is.

From personal experience with other payroll software, Paylocity's biggest attributes are performance reviews and navigation. The performance reviews are just so much more detailed than others that I've used in the past. They are able to be tailored to each individual employee, which I find is a great asset to have. For someone with small navigation issues with new software, Paylocity has been hands down the easiest tool for me to learn and use. I do know that we use Pace both for accounting and timekeeping software as we're manufacturing as well as a newspaper company, and (as far as I'm aware) Paylocity doesn't integrate with our system. Having the two intertwined would save me lots of time!
