Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity to manage small payrolls for 2 different divisions.
  • The time and labor feature of Paylocity is extremely flexible.
  • Transition from old payroll company to new went very smoothly.
  • I like the reporting feature that allows for many standard reports, but also quite a bit of customization to get exactly what you need.
  • I think Paylocity could pull information from one record to another instead of having to set things up in various different places.
  • Understanding the difference between the company set logins and the individual company logins and what can be done in each area is not explained very clearly.
  • Unable to do simple onboarding digitally without signing up for a whole new package.
  • Our previous payroll service provider was no frills and the cost reflected that. Paylocity tripled our price, but is more user-friendly.
Journal Entry download customized to fit our particular accounting software needs. Going to save us a lot of time in creating journal entries for each payroll.
Allows employees to manage their own personal data changes instead of requiring payroll staff to manually make them. Puts the burden of accuracy on the employee.
Paylocity offered us more features bundled together so that we didn't have to add several modules to get what we needed and that made Paylocity a more affordable option for us.
