Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, performance reviews, benefits, and payroll. It is great to manage employee data all in one system. There are areas of Paylocity that we have not even tapped into yet but we hope to in time.
  • Paylocity reports are great. There are standard reports and you can create your own reports as well.
  • Paylocity payroll is very simple to use.
  • Paylocity benefits is user friendly for our employees.
  • Paylocity customer service has had some quirks through COVID like many companies. It is more difficult to get an answer on the first call that it used to be. Perhaps training and time will help.
  • Paylocity has a few outside partner vendors such as background screening but it would be great to see more with partner discounts.
  • Paylocity has made benefits enrollment much more efficient
  • Paylocity has simplified our payroll processing
  • Paylocity has saved us a lot of time in processing the 1095 forms
Paylocity benefits has saved HR a great deal of time with automatic file feeds to our insurance carriers. Paylocity has saved HR a lot of time with creating documentation for our affirmative action plan. Paylocity has saved HR a lot of time on posting jobs manually to job boards.
We use Community to announce new hires to the rest of the company. We have not used surveys, video or peer recognition at this point. We hope to grow into using these features soon.
We used Sage HRMS prior to Paylocity. It served our needs at the time. We didn't really know what was missing until we started using Paylocity and learned of the other features that were available to us. Paylocity was definitely an improvement over Sage.

Paylocity offers many product solutions within HR and payroll. It is great for a company with greater than 100 employees but probably offers more than a smaller company needs. Paylocity's ACA/1095 platform is easy to navigate. Paylocity's payroll is straightforward to use.

Over the last several years Paylocity's support has declined. It is not terrible but it has been better.
