Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use most functions of the Paylocity system besides the ATS portion. This includes online onboarding (implemented in 2022), payroll, Bswift benefits, timecard management, performance management, and COVID vaccination tracking. It would be incredibly hard to run our organization without an HRIS to help manage our employee data.

Paylocity's automated processes are standard for HRIS systems and do not include any bells or whistles that further enhance our ability to focus on business objectives, in my opinion.
In my opinion, Paylocity's engagement tools are subpar. We use Gallup for our employee experience surveys, SurveyMonkey for other surveys, and have not had success trying to get employees to participate in the community forum. It feels very robotic and artificial.
In my opinion, ADP has significantly better reporting, easier to navigate, more visually appealing. Paycom is similar to Paylocity. I believe iCIMS has a much better ATS system than Paylocity but less visually appealing forms for employees to complete.

Paylocity is cost effective and accomplishes most of our needs in an HRIS system. We have not had a good experience with Paylocity customer service, from Account Managers or Benefit Support Account Managers, which can make it difficult to correct issues, implement changes, and manage open enrollment in a timely manner. In my opinion ,the reporting functionality is also lackluster and not as user-friendly. Again, Paylocity meets our basic needs, but I would not say anything beyond that.
