Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity as our HRIS. Some of the things we use Paylocity for is to organize personnel files, performance and benefits administration. Our HRIS also allows us to organize timely payrolls.
Pros
- Paylocity has centralized locations for personnel file documents
- Paylocity allows for streamlined payroll processes
- Paylocity provides featured for benefits and COBRA management
Cons
- Customer Service and response times need imrovement
- Needs to allow for more user autonomy if customer service is going to be slow. Have to rely too much on Paylocity's response time to get things fixed.
- Needs more automation system-wide
- Reduced costs
- Decreased trust in HR from employees. System consistently has issues
- Streamlined payroll process for different schedules
I believe Paylocity still has a long way to go in terms of automation. The automations that are available are simple and not that helpful. They could still do a lot more in terms of personnel changes and document management. Paylocity also does not empower HR or employees to make changes, there is a lot of back-end process that we cannot get around. It slows everything up to wait for Paylocity to investigate or resolve issues.
We don't use these. We have better tools for this outside of Paylocity.
