Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for HRIS, Performance Management and Payroll.
Automates many of the transactional HR functions, like recordkeeping, self-service for employees and managers, reporting.

Pros

  • Performance Management - now that our annual review is automated, it's awesome.
  • Data Insights are very informative and on the spot without running a report
  • Community Module is well received by the employees to communicate

Cons

  • Reporting can sometimes be a little challenging
  • The change of Account Reps is very high
  • Customer service is getting better
  • Data Insights definitely give us a better workforce visibility, especially being in 2 different locations
  • The new hire templates allow for more consistent process of new hires entries
  • The Modern Workforce Index gives interesting information/organizational overall scoring, along with benchmarking
Prior to us having the Time and Labor module, there were paper timecards everywhere that we no longer have to deal with.
The same for the Performance Management module, it was all done by paper and lots of Excel spreadsheets to try and track everything.
We only use the Community and Impressions and our employees really enjoy it's feel of social media exchanges, while at work.
Those are ones that were used at other organizations that I have worked with. Paylocity HR & Payroll had recently been added to my current organization when I joined.

Paylocity is well suited when it comes to their annual Elevate conference. The conference is very informative and I especially enjoy the room where they allow clients to come in and have one on ones with their specialists. Often times they take our feedback shared in the room to heart and its cool to see the suggested changes take place in the system later.
