Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for HR management of employee's, time and labor tracking, and recruiting and onboarding. using these tools has streamlined our hiring and onboarding process. To get more new hires into payroll faster and without needing to file and fill out lots of physical paper. Also it has streamlined our payroll process to make submitting payroll for up to 1200 employees weekly extremely quick and easy.

  • creating your own reports can be complex
  • lots of different features can make updating employee access tedious
  • every once in while glitches have occurred causing issues in Time and labor
  • Have had issues getting holiday pay set the correct way we need
  • Have had business tax filing issue in the past I had to dig and discover for Paylocity
  • Reduced time expenditures

Has given management more time to focus on other business objectives. They have made it easier to get larger applicant pools to reach out to and made the hiring process's faster.
We have not used much of the engagement tools. We have a very large employee pool this makes it difficult for us to create community's within our company.
We only used Paycom for a year and was not satisfied with there level of customer service. They were also unable to provide reporting to us that was need on a day to day basis. Overall the service was disliked company wide.

Paylocity is a great platform to use for payroll where you have large employee number's. Also if you are a business that is constantly hiring a lot of employee's the recruiting and onboarding system works great. Also Paylocity works great to integrate with many other tech platforms you are using. It may not be as appropriate if you have a smaller employee base and are not using a lot of different business service platforms.
