Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for our payroll and benefit implementation. We use it to print our 1095-C forms and file our end of year information. We do not need to use another company to get these processes completed for us.
Pros
- Locates errors in our time card system.
- Keeps accurate date of hours and salaries.
- Has a great selection of online tutorials.
Cons
- It's frustrating when the two enterprises are not combined. I have to switch companies frequently and it has become tedious. Be nice to have the companies combined.
- I did not enjoy the change to employee home page. When i click on a team members name it takes me to a basic screen. I would prefer it take me straight to the team members payroll and HR file immediately. I believe this update took place in 2018. I preferred the original setup.
- Again tedious but i preferred the old layout on the employee home page that showed the DOB and SS# with the employees contact info.
- Paylocity has helped eliminate any errors on benefit reporting.
- I am satisfied with the reporting abilities and while working on audits.
- Management is able to determine staff to revenue ratios.
Paylocity's automation tools have allowed me more time during the day to complete other tasks. I can focus on day to day issues without worrying about going line by line reviewing time cards. Paylocity will flag that for me.
We have not used this engagement tool. We hope to implement it soon.
Paylocity was far more superior in my opinion. The layout that Paylocity has is more effective and efficient. I feel more comfortable running reports and accessing them than I did with ADP. Paylocity has a easy to learn portal that makes using the system far more easier than ADP.
