Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity allows for multiple solutions in one system. Our company uses this product for payroll, including employees clocking in and out that are hourly, along with all employees submitting time off requests, submitting expenses for reimbursement on paychecks, general employee file retention within the HR & Payroll section, and for onboarding, which the system automatically sends the new candidate details on how to do so once we prompt it. I really like the Community section of Paylocity, which is unique compared to many other HRIS platforms. This "social media" type sharing section of the platform allows us as a company to provide company updates, send congratulations for different awards, update on upcoming events, and much more.

- Building Reports- Consistently difficult to build a report that produces the correct results
- Customer Service- we often get knowledge based articles sent back rather than an explanation and often the answers aren't what we are looking for.
- Quicker turnaround on garnishments being input
- Reduced errors in payroll
- Better workforce visibility
- Additional resources for managers regarding performance
Updating vacation and sick time automatically has reduced our time auditing the different banks which allows for additional time on higher priority projects.
Community and Surveys have allowed us to ask questions to our employees and keep their best interests in mind when making decisions. This has improved the benefit offers based on the survey results and allowed us to offer more quality engagement events on the Community so all employees will be involved rather than a select few.
Very similar in platforms. The reporting functions with Paycom seem more defined and easier to use. The E-verify module also in Paycom is easier to navigate to find past results. Paylocity does not have this functionality which is very surprising. I do very much enjoy the Community aspect, which seems unique to Paylocity, and the user friendly look and feel of Paylocity.

Using Paylocity
200 - Employees, Admin and Supervisors all use the platform.
2 - HR supports any questions for employees or managers regarding Paylocity. All HR personnel have to be fully versed in the entirety of the Paylocity suite.

Evaluating Paylocity and Competitors
Yes - Paycom- We previously used Paycom as our HRIS system. The system didn't have the Community or an internal communication system. Paycom also didn't have extremely responsive service, so we made the decision to adjust to a new HRIS, and Paylocity was the best fit for us. Our team has very much enjoyed the Community portion of Paylocity and has established a better centralized internal communication.

Paylocity has been an all-in-one solution for recruiting, onboarding, internal communication, payroll processing and several other options. It is very easy for our staff to use and they have enjoyed using various aspects of the system. The onboarding has been very streamlined for our new hires and they very much enjoy the mobile abilities.
I would review integration and ease of EDI set ups. This has been a little challenging. I would love to have had this set up in the beginning of our set up process. I would also have loved to explore how the learning module could be set up better for us from the beginning. And review how other platforms utilize training sessions on their platforms to see how they compare.

I’m not sure what premium support is.
There have been a few times when I’ve gotten great support. This is usually when I can on the phone line and the agents are helpful and get assistance quickly with resolving things. The struggle is usually with emailed support.
