We find that it’s particularly suited to boost employee engagement at your company. Paylocity stands out for its breadth of employee engagement features that are designed to keep employees connected and motivated. In this way, Paylocity is ideal for midsized companies that prioritize culture, collaboration, and employee retention. Paylocity’s tools for engagement include its Community hub and collaboration modalities, as well as its peer recognition and survey tools.

Paylocity offers an impressive breadth and depth of features to cover every aspect of the employee life cycle with a particular focus on engagement and collaboration. Paylocity and Paycor are quite similar in terms of what they offer and how users rate their products. However, user reviews consistently point out the efficiency of Paylocity’s time and attendance tools, especially its time off management features. Conversely, user reviews repeatedly surface complaints about Paycor’s time-tracking tools.
Paylocity makes it easy to check in with how your employees are feeling about their jobs or the company as a whole. It features a template library based on the type of feedback you seek. For instance, if you apply a filter such as “onboarding,” the system surfaces recommended questions to gather relevant feedback on the onboarding process. After that, you can set a due date and automatic reminders to maximize the response rate. You can even include a video explaining the context of the survey and any other important instructions for respondents.
