Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Paylocity for Time and Labor and HR and Payroll. We have recently begun to rely on time off management.

Pros and Cons

Pros

registering time off in different areas, PTO, Sick, etc.
Clock in with phones.
ease of downloading paystubs and tax forms.

Cons

We like to use a kiosk for clock-ins. It has not been a consistently good experience in the past.
Since we are tied to the Arch of Indianapolis, and they control some area, it makes it hard to trouble shoot, going through middle as it were
Sometimes, things change with no warning, but again, I believe that is due to the Archdiocese of Indianapolis having control.

Return on Investment

Kiosk not working is a negative.
Phone integration is a plus.

Paylocity Automated Processes

We do use schedules, which would be good, but we also use them for just placeholders since contracted teachers are not here in the summer but are still on schedules in the summer.

Paycor

I like Paylocity, but I prefer Paycor. We did not make the decision; the archdiocese did.

The only thing I don't like is that we don't control the setup. But that is not Paylocity fault.
