Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I am both a user and an administrator of the system. I receive my paystubs through Paylocity as a user. As an administrator, I support access and the payroll process. I also use the system for reporting.

Pros

  • Interface
  • Features - All in One Platform.
  • Mobile app.

Cons

  • Data Extraction.
  • Easier payroll process.
  • Less fees, everything is separate.
  • We've been able to offer staff more transparency into their total compensation with everything being in a single system.
  • Staff like that there's a mobile app where they can see their pay stubs and other important financial information.
  • It's been a struggle to extract position planning from the system.
The process has improved from the previous system, however I think they still could be better.
They have lacked features in this area historically. They are investing in this space and launching a new module.
It has been a huge improvement.

I like that the platform has a lot of modules included. We don't have to enlist multiple systems such as HRIS, HRA Card, ATS, and Benefits; they are all included in one platform and speak to each other. It's an expensive platform that is suited for a mid-size business. I don't see a small business being able to afford it.
