Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is our new HRIS and is used for everything employee related.

Pros

Cons

  • Learning - more options
  • Learning - More paylocity offered courses
  • Learning - Ease for end user to access newest courses
  • Ability to filter by newest course
  • Reduced Errors
  • Muliple scenarios that save the team time
  • Ease with Learning Creation and Tracking
  • Negative - it's not easy to see Learning Completion on an individual level. Ex: We must open each course to track who completed/who did not vs searching my employee record (if there is a way to search by employee name, please share this) :)
I'm not on the Recruiting/Onboarding part of HR, but I know from past team meetings, that Paylocity's processes and record keeping has improved this team's day to day so they can spend more time on those higher value objectives and goals to better our company and accomplish top-tier plans. We love it!
More engagement leads to better employee satisfaction scores...we sent a survey out earlier this year and will do it again next year too. We've been able to take action on those requests our employees have made and will continue to do so. We've been able to report on progress at recent quarterly meetings which shows that we're listening and taking action.
Because it's easy for new hires to use and for admin to learn and use in the background.
Paylocity is far superior in its user ease and friendliness/HR use/data tracking.

I am in the learning and development team and upload or create content for our employees in Paylocity Learning. We have role-specific and departmental specific courses and groupings of courses/curriculum that we assign to New Hires and tenured employees. Paylocity Learning offers many options for my team to create content..however, once created, it can be difficult to view the most recently added courses. Unless we know what we're searching for, it's a matter of scrolling through lists and lists of training options.

Using Paylocity

500 - Operations, HR, Finance - everyone at my company uses Paylocity. It's seamless and intiutive.

Evaluating Paylocity and Competitors

Yes - We replaced UKG with Paylocity just a few short years ago and it has been a tremendous help to our organization. We weren't getting all that we needed from UKG, there were limitations that caused duplicate work and workarounds.

All of the above were factors that went into us choosing Paylocity. We had a new team member who used it in the past and had a great experience with the onboarding section, employee profiles, training and development and more.
We wouldn't change anything about our selection of Paylocity for our company's HRIS. It was an amazing experience and we, a few years into our partnership with Paylocity, continue to use and enjoy this system. Paylocity continues to release updates that improve day to day and admin usage.

Usually the wait time is low, many times same day response. Recently I asked a complicated question on training and got a quick, but incorrect answer.

Yes - The mobile interface of Paylocity works beautifully for our remote, travelling, tablet-only using employees. It has all the functionality of the web-version of paylocity.
