Paylocity review
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use paylocity for Hr, Benefits, Payroll, Hiring, and performance.
Pros
- It's easy to use
- It provides a competitive option to other HCMs (Human Capital Management)
Cons
- In my opinion, introducing too many initiatives at times that cause unexpected problems at times or modules to be down unexpectedly
- In my experience, benefits, payroll and spending accounts seem to not work as closely together at times, causing issues on the employee side of things
- In my experience, there are unexpected bugs/glitches that don't have a solution at times and employers/admins are left waiting for solutions for some time (specifically there seems to be an issue where some pto isn't calculated accurately on one view of the benefit but is on another, causing confusion to admins and employees)
- Has allowed for performance management to feel more engaging
- Reduced errors for reports but only when customized
The surveys tool is helpful but limiting, to me engagement feels like it is being developed more and isn't quite there yet
It depends on the amount of money being invested, if all on equal playing field then it would be a strong 3rd
