Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for housing our employee HR & Payroll information. We onboard all employees through the Onboard tab. All new hires fill out their new hire paperwork online through the portal as well. Once that is completed, we will push them to the HR and Payroll side of the system. We run payroll bi-weekly through Paylocity. Track all time off request as well. In addition, it houses the time clock for hourly employees.
Pros

Cons
- I prefer the old payroll system
- Continue to have quick turn around times on tickets
- I do feel like when there is a tax issue, that takes weeks or months to resolve
- You have access to a lot of areas, without it breaking the bank
- I have also seen Paylocity waive fees associated with needed to fix tax items or reporting
- Over happy
We are a very small company, so I do not usually dive too much into all areas of Paylocity. If I had more time, I would, but that is on me to make more time to explore. I do really love having all the recruiting, onboarding, and payroll in one area. It makes things so easy to push through the system!
My companies have not spent a lot of time in this area. We currently use a third party for employee recognition. This goes back to me being a one person show, with not a lot of time to explore other areas that are considered "nice to have's." I will do better to spend some more time this next year looking into other areas.
