Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for payroll and their partner Human Interest for retirement benefits.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • App works well
  • Reporting features give me all the data I need.

Cons

  • I have not been able to get reports to automatically generate every week with the data that I am looking for. I have to manually create them.
  • I do not always get notifications that an employee has submitted a request and I miss them.
  • The cost to use Paylocity is less than our previous payroll provider.
I tried to automate the report generation, but I have not been able to get accurate results. I have to manually generate them every week.
We have not used any of these yet.
Paylocity is not as expensive as ADP. I also prefer Paylocity's time clock hardware.

We have seen that Paylocity works well with our company that has ~10 employees. I am not sure how well suited it would be for a company that is larger or smaller than ours.
