Good System, Customer Service Lacks
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity is our payroll and HRIS system. We have utilized it for over 5 years now. We have almost every module that the company offers - Recruiting, Onboarding, LMS, Compensation, Performance, Surveys, and bswift. We utilize it extensively in HR, our People Leaders utilize it, and our Accounting Department utilizes it for payroll. As different modules/features are added, we evaluate the business need to add the additional features as well.
Pros

Cons
- Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We have had several account managers within the last couple of years. No communication from Paylocity when we have a new account manager.
- Tracking of tickets that have been submitted - we keep a list of items we have sent to Paylocity to have fixed.
- Priority of fixing issues - when issues arise and we contact support a lot of time the response is "this is a known issue and there is no timeline on when it will be fixed"
- Upgrade from our previous recruiting software
- Digital Onboarding documents - this use to be a manual process and now it is electronic for us
- Streamlining of processes that use to be paper forms.
We have utilized the onboarding feature that has helped streamline initial onboarding paperwork for new employees.
We are beginning to utilize workflows for forms that previously would be printed, signed, and scanned back. This has been an improvement!
Payroll has been improved and streamlined as well from our previous provider.

We utilize the surveys for new hires, stay interviews, and evaluating LMS courses. It is nice to get feedback from employees. The reports and flexibility of the surveys leave a lot to be desired, but with some extra manual work we can get them to be useful for our needs. We do not utilize Community, Peer Recognition, or premium video as we have an internal intranet that is utilized for these items.
