Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

we use Paylocity for all of our payroll, onboarding and benefits along with taxes.

Pros

  • Time card processing
  • Benefit enrollment
  • Tax service

Cons

  • Market Analysis - sometimes doesn't register under employee
  • ACA should connect with benefits
  • Onboarding should be able to delete taxes not being used
  • Helping with E-Verify to make sure all employees are onboarded properly.
  • Benefit process seamless and quick.
  • Being able to scan in all employee paperwork to keep together
Onboarding has made the process easier. I like having all the components but I think they should work seamlessly together, like the Benefits combining with the ACA site.
Community has had a big impact with recognizing our employees milestones and birthdays automatically.

Paylocity does work well together for onboarding all the way to tax services. Just a few products that don't talk to each other and probably should.

Using Paylocity

140 - Employees use Paylocity to see their time cards, paychecks and tax forms. They can also login and change their personal information, request time off and even see employee recognitions. The company uses Paylocity for payroll, time cards, checks, garnishments, onboarding, taxes, time off, benefits, etc. Product works well, however, they do seem to make changes often which can be kind of confusing unless you are looking at all the updates.
2 - Our people need to know how to use the software for Payroll, onboarding, garnishments, taxes, benefits among other things. Processing weekly payroll is our main objective and keeping track of employee times through the timecard process. Managers can also log in and see the timecards for their own employees and also approve their time off.

The product works great, except when it doesn't. we put a lot of effort into getting Paylocity up and running and I wouldn't want to start over with another product. The product itself is pretty good, just wish they didn't keep making constant changes. I do try to see what is coming up on the horizon, but the little changes made constantly can sometime make doing Payroll confusing.

Yes - We did payroll in house.

If it was up to me, I'd look into other programs and see what the reviews are.

Paylocity Implementation

once all information was verified, it did go smoothly.
  • making sure all employees were listed
  • making sure all deductions were listed
  • making sure all year to date amounts were correct

They do have lots of products to offer, however, they all don't seem to flow into eachother.
ACA should be configured automatically when using benefits on Paylocity.

Paylocity Support

Most of the time I am not speaking with my account manager, but whoever answers the phone. In most cases, they have been very helpful and even have gone above and beyond in some case to make sure I receive my answer. On one occasion, it did however take several days to get my answer, but in the end, my account manager made sure I knew what the outcome was.

Have been a tremendous help with the garnishments service not just for child support but also for tax levy's.
