Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I have encountered numerous issues with our state setups, management, timely payments and filings. Despite my repeated requests for someone to call me so we can address and resolve all the issues and problems to took MONTHS to receive any assistance in that manner and get that meeting - just emails. Then to meet and find out there was missteps on Paylocity side that started from our set up - I DID provide what what was needed and they found the forms.... We chose this service to relieve the burden of state management and filing, but it has only resulted in stress, headaches, and a loss of trust in Paylocity. Also when I pay $200 for set up .. it should be that .. set up for the state ... just not a part of of it .. and then more money for the rest. Another miscommunication. It really is my biggest headache . I have had issues when requesting items that can only be set up by Paylocity to only have it done wrong ... I am losing faith :(

Pros

  • Payroll seems to be easier than other HRIS Systems
  • Recruiting Platform
  • Compensation Info

Cons

  • STATE MANAGMENT - you need a separate experience rep to be assigned to you , not just the service/account rep
  • More help to walk through things - not given a document to follow .. I want that support.
  • Ability to manage contractors easier and people who are not on payroll
  • easy to process payroll
  • State management is worse for me .. and more expensive.
It has helped somewhat ... have not explored them all ... due to worry if it works etc ..
I have not had a chance to go through this ... LIKE really see what it does .. just sales spiel and images.. it wouldbe nice to have a sandbox or test period so we could really explore and see if we want to pay for it.
it was lacking in some items - hence the move to Paylocity
