Paylocity Rocks
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity is our payroll company - we use the Time & Labor and HR & Payroll modules which complement each other well. We also use their Onboarding module which makes it easy for the employee to put in their information and then make updates via the self-service portal. Paylocity has come a long way since we first started with them in 2016. Excellent improvements!
Pros
- Transferring data to other companies (ex: 401k, welfare benefits, etc)
- Reports are great
- Payroll process is great
Cons
- Cannot do a points drop off system - drops all points at one time (not from its occurrence
- FMLA with Time & Labor does not transfer to HR & Payroll (have to manually track)
- Good training guides
- Reporting is great
Processing payroll goes pretty smooth and accurate. Attendance tracking needs improvement.
Videos and training documents are great. We really need to use the Peer Recognition more and may need to try the surveys as well.
At the time we went with Paylocity - it was the feedback from other clients that made me go with Paylocity.

Evaluating Paylocity and Competitors
Yes - We were with a PEO and replaced them with Paylocity.
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
User friendly with representatives who can help get through areas that we needed help with. Implementation went very well with the limited amount of time we had.
I don't feel I would change the selection process. I looked at 3 payroll companies who all offered pretty much the same type of modules. It was the reference checks I did that leaned me to going with Paylocity vs the other two I was looking at.
Paylocity Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Yes - The implementation team was amazing and very helpful. We first did Time & Labor and then moved into HR & Payroll.
Not sure - I'm not quite sure what you are asking for
- Understanding some of the reporting

|---|---|
Quick Resolution Problems get solved No escalation required Immediate help available Support understands my problem Support cares about my success Quick Initial Response | Not kept informed |
I'm not sure what the question is - "for" what? If there is such a thing called "premium support" I am not aware of it.
I have had amazing Account Managers who really know what I need and are a great help to me and my team. There have been many times where they take my issue(s) and follow up with me with where the issue is at which is great.
