Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for all of our payroll needs. This includes the hiring process, benefits payment management, and all payroll-related state and federal taxes.

Pros

  • Quarterly taxes.
  • Bi-weekly payroll.
  • Hiring/Onboarding checklists.

Cons

  • Knowledge Base searches.
  • One-off payroll checks / bonus payments.
  • App based time card management.
  • Reduced payroll errors.
  • Integrated with health benefits system.
  • Various types of time off tracking.
We are a very small non-profit, so automation is always helpful; however, our payroll process is so quick that the actual time saved is minimal. The biggest reason for automation is the reduction of errors (which also saves time).
We do not currently use these tools.
Paylocity had an easier initial startup than the other programs I have used. This was vital when getting started with payroll software.

It is well suited for our payroll needs - staff and taxes are both paid appropriately. The ease of completing a daily timecard could be improved.
