Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for payroll, recruitment, performance evaluations, spending accounts, and onboarding new employees. This has dramatically reduced the manual work previously performed by Accounting and HR. "One stop shopping" for our employees.

Pros

  • Intuitive software.
  • Many offerings.
  • Customer service generally gets back to us within 24 hours.

Cons

  • Performance Evaluations - changes made that I was not aware of in advance, with questions and weighting. No longer can we get others' input through the system.
  • Reduction in time spent using multiple systems.
  • Reduction in time spent doing manual processes.
  • Less paper!
We went from a manual payroll every two weeks (all timesheets were entered manually from paper timesheets) to Paylocity, where everything comes over electronically. We just started using recruitment and onboarding, and so far, it's great. There is less double entry and more automation.
Relatively small - only a few employees have mentioned this.

It's perfect for payroll, spending, recruiting, and onboarding. However, performance evaluations could use some tweaking to make them more user-friendly.
