Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We are using Paylocity for Payroll and HR purposes, and we are learning how to use more and more of the items we are allowed to use. We are trying to streamline our payroll and HR processes, and with Paylocity we are close to doing everything just in Paylocity.

Pros

Cons

  • I miss the Payroll employee look. The new look is harder to find what I need.
  • I wish we could update our own GL. We know what accounts things belong too, or should know. And I wish we could have then in the orders we have, not having to be just in a numerical order.
  • Labor Distribution Reports. We could really use this report to be on a selected date basis, not just a payroll date basis. It would help Those who are looking for 1) Cost analysis for our cost centers, and month end processing. Having a report like this would help us a lot.
  • I am one that feels "if it is not broke don't fix it" type person. When updating, maybe do a little better in helping inform people more.
I am not one who trusts automation.
We have used Community, which is wonderful. Impressions we have yet to use.
The usability of Paylocity is relatively easy to use, but if there is an issue, it is easy to call for help. Customer service is so nice and helpful.
Paylocity has the reports that I need and what our auditors require, and reports that are easily read. Customer service is great.
