Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use Paylocity every day. We use recruitment, performance, market pay, benefits and compensation. It has really simplified our recruitment process. The system is very easy to use, and I love the text feature that we can use to text candidates. We also like the recognition and community feature for our employees to recognize others in the organization.

  • Reports are hard to navigate sometimes
  • If there is an issue and we need to reach out to service, it seems like they don't have a specific person who takes care of the issue. It seems like it is in a queue, and anyone can take the ticket. They do not seem to be aware of our specific organization's questions or concerns. It would be good to have the help desk folks committed to specific client companies so they are aware of what that company uses and can better help them if there are questions.

  • Paylocity has also helped us with compensation so we can create a fair and robust compensation plan.
  • I also like using the data insights feature, which helps me keep track of over time, payroll and benefits costs, and retention numbers. This also saves me time as it is all in one place.
Paylocity has definitely helped with recruitment. Payroll is also done and simple to do. Paylocity has definitely saved us time in many areas.
We use the community peer recognition on a regular basis. An employee can nominate another employee for a candy gram. The person get their picture taken and they get to pick a candy bar. The nomination is then posted to the community forum so all employees know about why the person got the candy gram. We have also been using the surveys to gauge employee morale and engagement.
Overall Paylocity is easy to use.
We like Paylocity much better then ADP. It has more to offer and is easier to use.

The recruitment function, time and labor, community for the employees to recognize their peers. We also use the benefits feature. This year we had to add some new lines of coverage and I felt like it was very wonky. There would be one person in benefits that was in charge of implementation. Then if there were issues on the back end, there was another person who made sure the codes were properly set up. I had a simple question and it took two different people to get back to me when I could have just taken care of the issue myself if I was directed accordingly.
