Overall Satisfaction with Vasion Print

We use Vasion Print to track printing statistics across our environment. It really helped us control the amount of printing, reduce the number of devices, find the devices that were costing us the most money, and replace them. It has proved very easy to set up and manage.

Companies can manage their printer fleets, give users the ability to easily install printers, see costs, eliminate devices, justify getting new devices, make configuration changes easily, and use reporting to get any statistics they require for any team to be able to improve the printing process overall. It's cloud and easy to set up.
Vasion Print will take over the function of the print server as well as all reporting required. It will be the one system to manage all printing needs even down to end user needs. You can manage access and even push firmware updates depending on the device so the printers can stay current.
They function similarly although I did not test Papercuts cloud version. I trialed PaperCut more for their on premise version because it would be a one time cost instead of an ongoing fee. Still, we decided to remain with Vasion Print as it is provided through an agreement with a print service provider.

If a company is not fully aware of its print volumes and the costs associated, this could be costing them thousands of dollars or much more every month. Even knowing whether users are printing color or black and white helps. With this information companies can justify getting more expensive devices with lower cost per copy prices so they win on cost and functionality.
