Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We utilize Procore to manage the construction of all of our commercial building projects. It is used most heavily by our construction department with other departments (accounting, marketing, etc.) utilizing it on at an abbreviated level.
  • Change management
  • Budget management
  • Document control
  • Submittal management
  • BIM integration
  • Project change management has improved dramatically, ensuring that scope changes are funded.
  • Document control is much stronger, with updated drawings, rfis, submittals, etc., are being captured and distributed to all responsible parties, at a more consistent level.
  • Integration with accounting software has eliminated administrative redundancy, which has lowered overhead costs.
My experience has shown Procore to be superior to Prolog. However, I have not used any recent renditions of Prolog software and cannot make an accurate comparison between the current versions of both software programs.
Procore is extremely well suited for use by commercial general contractors. It has also been pitched as a tool for owners/developers to manage their projects, but I see it being heavily specialized for use by the general contractor and don't see a high ROI for owners/developers.
