Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Document control is a breeze with Procore. The fact that I can review the history and progression of files including changes by whom is huge in the field. I have some very salty superintendents that are very excited about the ease of use of the Procore App in the field. Observations and Inspections with in the daily log are often turned around in the same hour. Whereas before notes would be made, wait until the super returned to the trailer, issue the notice, wait for the company to respond and filter to their field team could take days. I appreciate the speed with which Procore evolves to their consumer needs. We see need more improvements in the Commitments and Change Management area by creating a stronger link between accounting and the field. We are also working out a better way to control photos. The recent add of the daily log folder was helpful.
  • The customer service is exceptional. Please don't change!
  • Daily logs - My superintendents really like the Daily Log module to keep track of manpower, deliveries, inspections, etc in the field and in the office.
  • RFI & Submittal Management.
  • Plans and version control. Being able to overlay versions and see the changes has been huge asset for me.
  • Makes information available at your fingertips that historically would of been hard to access remotely. Accessing multiple projects in the field is awesome.
  • A better connection between accounting and field ops. Billing and Change management needs some more tweaks.
  • Photo management - It can be difficult finding photos and folders is not the solution. A toggle to sort system might be helpful.
  • For me the impact has been in holding team members accountable. Documents response times and unnecessary delays in forward movement.
  • Procore notifications are annoying if you don't use your dashboard and communicate with your team at large. I like the updates throughout the day. I also like Procore being the nag and sending daily reminders instead of me.
Procore delivers the foundation necessary for construction management. All other business applications fell short like trying to fit a large square peg in a small round hole. There is no just comparison. Procore IS Construction Management.
It worked for me in multifamily renovations with limited scope and continues to prove itself in new construction environments with complex scopes.

Yes - First year this company is using Procore. The added support is necessary.
Yes - Absolutely and the rep was patient and walked me through solutions and helped me find my way. Turned out it was a glitch with my browser and they were working on making the platform fully functional on Chrome.
You can watch the videos but until you jump in with both feet you just don't know what's going on. I often have questions and have no fear of calling customer service. The same person usually starts and finishes the call or online with live chat. I have yet to need escalation.
