Overall Satisfaction with Procore

It was a little difficult to jump from one platform to Procore, but after some playing around and troubleshooting Procore has become a simple to use tool that I use almost every day.
It is a little difficult to understand at first just because of the number of features provided by Procore, but there are plenty of explanatory videos and given some time to play around with the app it is simple to use and helpful.
Procore is being used across the whole organization as a means to ensure everyone is on the same page. It helps to keep everyone up to date with vendor submissions and reviews as well as subcontractor communications. It also helps to make sure everyone has access to the same information in the field as in the office.
  • The mobility of Procore ensures that the engineers in the field have the same drawings as the engineers in the office, which helps to reduce any miscommunication that could occur.
  • Procore allows the administrator to create sub-folders in the various tabs, which is helpful if you are looking for a civil drawing and don't want to search through all the electrical and mechanical drawings as well.
  • Sometimes the red-line feature is a little difficult to use.
  • It can be a little frustrating if you are working in a document and go to save an edit only to find out that you are no longer working in the updated version because someone else has already edited it.
It is incredibly easy to add a vendor or subcontractor to Procore for a specific project under the license we have. It makes sure that everyone is on the same page and we don't have to jump between communication platforms and run the risk of things falling through the cracks.
  • Procore has saved time by allowing engineers in the field to just use the Procore app to retrieve a drawing that they may need without having to go to a computer.
  • Procore has saved paper because everything is view-able in Procore, so all you have to do is open the drawing or document and zoom to what ever extent you need without having to print off every single document.
The strongest advantage of Procore is the ability to share information across many different companies without having to get lost in email chains.
Procore is well suited for engineering and construction firms because of the ability to have "extreme" organization with specifications and drawings.
