Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Our entire company uses Procore for our project management and we link the software to Sage. The software helps us track our budgets internally and really helps our guys in the field with field reports, daily logs, and punchlist.
Pros
- Punchlist
- Daily Logs
- Tracking Information Exchange
Cons
- Does not link to Sage as seamlessly as advertised
- Directory tool is not efficient
- Bidding Management tool was so terrible that I had to buy a different software
I enjoyed working with Constructware better than Procore. I didn't use CMiC because we chose Procore over that software.
Yes, we have benefited from collaboration. Our owners have enjoyed seeing the project progress through the documentation.
- I think our return on investment is very poor. The program is a percentage of our overall volume, and I don't believe that should be paid for a project management software.
- Procore has helped in the efficiency of tracking documents to subcontractors/owners.
- Gain visibility into projects
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Document job site conditions
- Report on incidents and inspections
- Identify job site risks
- Track cost impacts from the field
- Streamline financial reporting
- Improve forecast accuracy
- Simplify employee time tracking
Procore is very user-friendly on the field side of reporting on-site activities and job site reporting. The program is not user-friendly on budgeting, forecasting, or tracking cost impacts. We have had multiple calls with our implementation person and it took many months of working in the software for our Project Managers to get comfortable with the it.
