Overall Satisfaction with Prophix

We are just starting our journey with Prophix but we will be using it for financial reporting, WIP reporting, budgeting/forecasting and ad hoc reporting.

Pros

  • Gathers data from multiple sources
  • Allows for cross sectional reporting with multiple variables
  • Provides detailed insights on specific data sets

Cons

  • will update as we go through the process
  • Faster month and year-end close
  • More efficient board, lender and investor reporting
  • Real time data, no need to compile the report once it is built
It has the look and feel of Excel so it is familiar but also not as static as Excel
It is light years ahead of what we were doing but can always continue to evolve
We thought it was the best for our use, all were good with Vena being very close
