Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

We use QuickBooks Online to track credit card chagres and reconcile them in real time. Credit card transactions are tracked and compared to the payments authorized in our system. By utilizing this fucnctionality we are able to catch fraudulent and erroneous charges very quickly. Unfortunately we do not use all of the functions of the software like invoice processing or bookkeeping.

Pros

  • Always works. Practically no down time.
  • Has the ability to bring in new cc transactions in real time
  • Software has the ability to automatically code transactions via preset parameters

Cons

  • The rules for credit card transactions are pretty buggy.
  • No AI component as far as i know
  • I wish there was a reconciliation piece that can bring in outside data to reconcile against the cc data
  • Allows us to do cc reconciliations where no other software is able to help us bring in data
  • Can find fraudulent charges and dispute the quickly
  • Great help in reconciling cc transactions
Never had any issues doing exactly what i want with the software
Unfortunately, in my opinion, QuickBooks Online is not anywhere cloase to Coupa or BlackLine in terms of functionality. Both platforms are head and shoulders above where i understand QuickBooks Online to be currently. Specifically in relation to task automation and more specifically in AI integration.

Anyone that has a small to mid-size company can benefit from using the software. It has great functionality and lots of automation options.
