Easiest and Fastest Interface

I find QuickBooks Online so much easier to use than a lot of other accounting platforms that I have used before. It is especially good for small to medium sized companies, or those that outsource their accounting functions to a third party because there is very good user management and secured user management. I like that it takes the accounting basis away for simple use cases, so anyone can really use QuickBooks Online at its core without much accounting background. However, at the same time, there are many features that are great for the more advanced accountant/bookkeeper to use and even use for dashboard reporting.

QuickBooks Online is well suited for small to medium sized companies that have a decent amount of transactions coming and going through the bank. It does especially well when there are a lot of recurring transactions with similar vendors or types, so the AI categorization helps. It also works well in scenarios where a company is just starting up and needs to put together a chart of accounts with general ledger classifications, numbers and putting together reports to run quickly and easily. It does not work as well with retail industry companies that take customer payments but also need to process a lot of purchase orders because rather than generated purchase orders from the bills, you have to redo them all one by one.
