Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

We use QuickBooks Online to create invoices, track inventory, create financial reports, etc. Its great that it's super easy to train new people how to use it but there are many glitches that often come us because of all of the updates they make that need to be addressed. They add new things but the old things start glitching.

Pros

  • It's easy to enter and track bills that are due.
  • It's easy to create purchase orders and send them out to our vendors to order products.
  • It's does well creating sales reports.

Cons

  • Their inventory list in products and services doesn't always show the correct quantities, the qty on the products tab and the report tab don't match. The report shows the correct qty.
  • When creating an invoice, the rate/price will sometimes switch to default $0 when you clock save and send so the customer will receive a $0 invoice even though you entered the amount. So you have to re-enter the amount multiple times.
  • I would like an option to copy the invoice link while being in the invoice
  • I would like the invoices to automatically apply the price rules, sometimes that doesn't work properly
  • it does good tracking expenses
  • it does good creating reports
it has room for improvements, many glitches keep coming up everytime something new is added. you should clean up the bugs before adding new things like AI

QuickBooks Online is a great program for creating invoices and sending them, it really helps track overdues and makes it easy to follow up on them with your customer like sending reminders and statements. It does well when you order products, add them to inventory easily by creating a bill and them paying those bills.
