Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

I use QuickBooks Online Accountant for my practice, I mainly use the system for Sole traders and small business's, the system helps identify transactions and makes reconciling bank accounts fast and consistent. The system helps calculate CIS and payroll ensuring all HMRC are correct and compliant. However I do not find the year end accounts to work well and have issues when it comes to submitting, with QuickBooks Online support taking weeks to help correct the issues.

Ease of use for clients is fantastic, with snapping receipts highly recommended for soe traders on the go. however bank connection fails regular and can take weeks to correct. VAT and CIS are easy to use as is payroll
Sage excells at more complex accounting, but clients do not find the app on the move as easy to use as QuickBooks Online

I would recommend the system for clients as it is very easy to use on the go, however it does not do more complex accounting well such as tax return submissions, i do find working papers helpful but not when it comes to moving to pro tax, which needs much more work.
